Why does my Microsoft Office 2010 Beta edition bar say Trial at the top and how can i change it?
I downloaded Microsoft Office 2010 off of their website but it says trial in the top bar
1) Shouldn't it say Beta
2) Is there any way i can change this
3) Is it true i can use my beta version for life?
The beta is not good for life. The beta was an unfinished test version. Thanks for helping Microsoft make Office better, but you don't get a free copy of Office out of it. It will stop working October 31st.
If you want to continue to use Office, you have to purchase a copy of Office 2010 from your local software retailer, or from Microsoft Online.

Why is Microsoft Office 2010 Beta for free when the 2007 version costs about 80$ already?
I don't get it! People had to pay a lot of money for the 2007 version and now anybody can download 2010 Beta for free! How comes! I just downloaded it and I even find it better than the 2007 version...
Or will Microsoft uninstall Office 2010 from every PC after releasing the final version?

People need to test the Beta for bugs.
If you bought 2007 get a free upgrade to 2010.
